A Swimwear Brand that Radiates Empowerment
Resme is a small-batch swimwear brand founded by a breast cancer survivor, dedicated to celebrating and supporting all bodies through every stage of life. Designed specifically with women impacted by breast cancer in mind, their swimwear provides specialised coverage and support - and is, of course, versatile and suitable for anyone seeking stylish and comfortable swimwear.
To reflect its mission to empower women, Resme needed a brand identity and website that made them feel beautiful, happy, and confident in their new skin, without resorting to the tired clichés of a warrior narrative. The brand had to help women reconnect with themselves and feel elegant and sexy again.
As such, we developed a sophisticated and empowering brand identity. Using a feminine and classy font with "imperfect" organic shapes, we embraced the brand's core idea of celebrating unique forms. The symbol reflects this with an odd circle and curved line that simultaneously resemble a breast, a raised arm, and a swimmer. The colour palette, inspired by summer and the beach, combines natural tones with vibrant hues to evoke serenity and liberation. Finally, we designed an easy-to-navigate e-commerce website with inspiring and confident copy, ensuring a seamless and uplifting experience for Resme's customers.
