Rebranding a Decade of Timeless Design

When AMES Arquitetos approached us, they were preparing to celebrate a milestone: ten years of shaping thoughtful, enduring architecture from their base in Marbella. Known for their bespoke villas and hospitality projects that blend timeless elegance with contextual sensitivity, the studio had earned a strong reputation among discerning clients. Yet, their visual identity no longer reflected the calibre, nuance, or distinctiveness of their work. It was time for a brand evolution.

Through our discovery process, one insight stood out: AMES’ architecture breathes. Their projects are defined not by excess, but by balance, air, and an effortless spatial harmony. We translated this feeling directly into the wordmark—introducing generous spacing between the letters to mirror the studio’s architectural restraint and sense of calm.

Another defining feature of AMES’ portfolio is their preference for organic forms over the rigid, white box aesthetic often seen in the region. This sensibility inspired subtle customisations in the typography—particularly in the curves of the A and M—to soften the geometry and infuse the mark with the same gentle character present in their built work.

The result is a brand identity that feels architectural, intentional, and above all, true to AMES: timeless, tactile, and quietly confident.
