Balancing seriousness with vitality across multiple verticals for Avenidas and its sub-brands
Avenidas, a successful Portuguese start-up in the mobility and tourism sector, began in 2016 with a single car primarily focused on Uber rides. Today, it operates a fleet of 150+ vehicles. After our rebranding efforts in 2019, we were entrusted with yet another exciting challenge to further elevate their brand.
The business spans across four highly distinct verticals, presenting a unique challenge in establishing a cohesive brand identity with clear communication strategies across each vertical.
We intentionally assigned the traditional corporate blue to the mother brand, Avenidas, to convey a sense of seriousness. Meanwhile, we introduced gradients to the sub-brands to infuse them with vitality. This approach struck a balance between gravitas and a go-getter spirit, which resonated deeply with our founders. Additionally, we meticulously crafted all copy and headline statements, ensuring consistent execution across all touchpoints, including the website, social media, employee handbook, and various campaigns. The business is expanding rapidly, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
